The Gospel

Salvation is God's free gift to us, but we must accept it. Salvation by God's grace without works of our own is necessary because of the sinfulness of man. Only by trusting Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. When we turn from the self-ruled life as we repent of our sins and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith and therefore lasts for all of eternity.

If you are not sure if you are right with God, or have ever started a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we invite you to pray this prayer in your own words.

The Salvation Prayer
Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I know that you died on the cross for my sins. I invite you into my heart at this time. I ask that you come, live inside of me, change me, and make me the person you want me to be. Help me to honor and glorify your name in all that I do. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen!

If you prayed this prayer today, we celebrate with you! Starting a personal relationship with Jesus is the most important decision you can make. We want to pray with you, encourage you, and connect with you as you begin your faith journey.

WHAT IS THE GOOD NEWS?

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. The incarnation of Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus lived the perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the grave three days later to conquer sin and death. He will return to reign over the earth as King of kings and Lord of lords.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
